Robert Cialdini made a suprise guest appearance at Joe Polish and Dean Jackson's I Love Marketing Event in Arizona.
He wrote the landmark book: Influence: The Art of Persausion. Read it as fast as you can.
Also remember to check out the best marketing Podcast going - I Love Marketing on iTunes.
A couple of years ago I became a Mac convert because I started following Ed Dale. Since then I have put into practice some of the techniques and tools recommended by him. It's been fun...(but expensive).
Here is my latest video promoting a really useful graphics package using some of the tool of the trade I picked up from Ed.
iMac
Screenflow
Keynote
Others I use:
Handbrake - To make my video files smaller
iPhone - To record some sound effects
Audacity - To edit my sound effects
I get my graphics from http://www.presentermedia.com
Please let me know what you think of the video and retweet to share the love. Thanks.

The Challenge reminds me of the iPad. Ever since the iPad launched you have probably seen at least a dozen different knock-offs appearing on the market. Each one usually with a ton of hype and a promise of better experience.
"You can now multi-task with this model.", "This one has a bigger screen than the iPad.", "This one is $200 less!" On and on it goes. The one thing that people forget, as Ed Dale reminds us, Apple worked on the iPad for TEN years. TEN years! They kinda have a jump on the competition, don't you think?
Putting my admiration of the iPad and Apple aside, the team that is responsible for The Challenge is alot like the iPad. Let's see how.
For the last 5 years The Challenge (originally called The 30 Day Challenge), have been delivering a state of the art learning experience for anyone who wants to use internet marketing to make their first dollar. What? First Dollar? Yep. There are no bold claims like some other marketers make. If you follow the steps and do the work you will make your first dollar in The Challenge.
Innovation: Every year The Challenge has been dramatically raising the bar in the quality of the training and the way the training is delivered. All the current and even future innovations are being used and tested. You get to be apart of some truely revolutionary experiments in the internet marketing world. And all the time you are learning how to make your first dollar online.
There have been copiers: Just like other tablets scurrying to be like the iPad, other marketers have tried to copy the scope and delivery of The Challenge. Sadly just like many of the tablets, they never come close.
Ok, I am not trying to stick my nose in someones behind. There is nothing like going through The Challenge available out there. I keep forgeting to mention a little fact....it's completely FREE. That is a biggie. Ed and the gang have also designed The Challenge to be done in short 30 minute or less blocks because they realize we can't be stuck in front of our screens all day.

Watch the video and sign up. You may never be the same.
There is alot more awesomeness to say about The Challenge. Keep coming back to this blog as I chronicle my journey through this year's Challenge. It's going to be a fun ride.
Oh, I can assure you that you will be able to watch all the videos on you iPad. (Or any other tablet out there). :)
Best,

“The iPad provides a ton of new opportunities for readers to experience the web and focus in on what matters: the content itself, while making use of what’s possible now with swipe gestures,” Onswipe CEO Jason Baptiste told Mashable.
